14. Isn't is awesome? I'm planning on going to the PA Renaissance Fair
October 27th ( the last day of the fair, actually ) and the weather should be just perfect by then. Bundled up and walking through a Renaissance wonderland with grog and turkey legs and pickles on a stick from venders............ahhhhh...my idea of heaven.

18. Have a great time.
I'm going to an Irish Fest in Weston, MO. It's in NW Missouri, kinda between KC and St. Joseph. It's held in a huge wine cellar under a brewery, and it seems like the whole town is on the National Registry of Historic Places.

6. I'm a bit hesitant to post a reply to that...I lived in Florida for four years
Edited on Tue Oct-09-07 06:10 PM by TK421
I can't stand the heat...I don't know if you like it or not, but most people go down there to escape the cold.

I just remember one miserably hot summer and a short, cool ( but not cold ) winter...and no seasons in between those two

edited to add: I just missed the change of seasons, mostly....Florida didn't have that

7. I love the heat.
I'm up in the panhandle of Florida so we actually get some winter. I've even seen ice on the bayou back in 1999 up here.

We've got about another 3 weeks before it's too cold for watersports and swimming.

with the heat? or do you detest it?

12. No, I'm a warm weather kind of guy.
Maybe it was growing up in Florida without A/C, or the fact my family has been in this state since pre-civil war days, but I'm well adapted to the heat.

If we were all alike, then we'd all be living in the same place...that would suck!

22. High of 81 today...
Edited on Tue Oct-09-07 08:36 PM by mycritters2
but tomorrow--mid 50's! I don't remember what the mid-50's feel like, so I have no idea how to dress.

edited because "high" has two hs in it, and "hig" isn't a word.

24. Sorry, didn't realize it said that.
I'm in Illinois. It's been in the 80's for weeks, much later in the season than it should be. It's just felt like one long summer. Thus the comment concerning clothing.
