"Over 60's" folks - are you at all close with your siblings?
After my parents died many years ago (just months apart) we had a few "get togethers" but as the years have gone by (25) we see and talk to each other less and less.

I have two brothers who I haven't communicated with in years. Both have "self isolated" themselves, one being a "survivalist" right winger and the other just demands to be left alone.

In our day (growing up in the '40's and '50's) the moms just had kids "whenever" and they (kids) wound up being many years apart so they were really strangers to one another. My oldest sib was in the Air Force when I was only 5. We have nothing in common(extreme right winger.)

Same thing with my husband. When he was a toddler his oldest brother was in the South Pacific in WWII, having fudged his age at the time as he was only 16.

On the other hand, when my SIL had her kids, in the 1960's, she planned them to all be 2 years apart and now they (even in their 40's and 50's) are very close friends with one another.
