I understand being okay with boredom, but what about loneliness?

I thought I was okay with loneliness too, until very recently. I had no idea how dependent I was upon my dog, and now she's gone too. There's this huge emptiness I feel that I am filling up with self destructive behaviors and feelings, which is very uncharacteristic for me.

Any advice or wisdom would be appreciated.

8. It's not so much that I'm OK with loneliness..

...but I was very depressed with my life before I made a radical change. I am now 1400 miles away from the source of my misery, and in a few weeks, I'll be divorced from him too.

I would suggest getting involved with activities, and meet people. Wish I had more insight for you. Stay away from the destructive behaviors, ok?
