2. Today, I was off sick

By which I mean "sick."

Most days, I work a brutally unrewarding job that convinces me more and more that the structure of corporate America is designed to reward the painfully mediocre who "play the game" while punishing the not-quite-as-painfully-mediocre who opt not to engage in the whole charade.

But then, isn't that pretty much everyone's job?
