now she's got a manson look in her eyes
and a grin that's stretching so wide

77. no
i'm from america, living in america, but don't really seem to be very much a part of it. i don't really want to be anything but an outsider either... once people become insiders they start to do things to stay insiders that they know are wrong. but i'm not actually from another land... it's probably rather pretentious of me to call myself otherlander but when i signed up it seemed like everything was going to hell around me so i figured, might as well set myself apart from the madness, might as well say, i am not part of this society.

i probably won't be leaving america either. if i did go to another country it would be in one of 3 ways:
1. As a tourist (meh)
2. With a green card (i don't see a reason to do this)
3. As a volunteer (well, that's actually a possibility but not soon. when i leave this town/state i'll be staying in the country at least for a while.)

It's a great quote from Teddy Roosevelt.

It's a great picture I took of a backlit American flag filled with summertime South Dakota sunshine. I have the print hanging in my bathroom (4x6) and posted it on wikipedia.

And I when I read the vexology of the American flag, I thought that was cool, too, so I put it in there. This way, if I chose to change the picture, I still have an American flag in my sig line.

86. Would you mind to translate. please?

87. It's the mantra from the Heart Sutra.
The Heart Sutra is one of the central texts of Buddhism, articulating as it does the core or "heart" of Buddhist belief about the nature of life and reality. Roughly translated, it means: "It is thus: go, go, go beyond, go completely beyond, root yourself in the ground of enlightenment."

Easier said than done.

80. I turned them off when I was on dial-up
It really helped speed up the loading times for me. I'm on cable now, but I've never gotten around to turning them back on.

81. I change mine
depending on my mood. I got flamed in R/T one day and changed it to the current one, but I'm on a roll now and have the need to change it like yesterday. So it's gonna go soon, even if it does reflect my general opinion.
