Man Faces 5 Years for Beating, Tasering, and Drowning Possum

Boynton Beach Police say John Linsen beat the opossum with a shovel, used the stun gun, and then drowned it.

Linsen has been charged with causing pain and suffering and cruel death to an animal. If convicted, he could spend five years in prison and be fined $10,000.

Authorities gave the opossum a burial.
