Here's a new drawing from a series I'm starting
It's sort of a play on green-man faces. This was just started recently. The strict-symetry is there for composition. The right sude will be redrawn more naturally.

I like the symmetry, actually. I have a linear mind like that. :) The colors are great too!

8. That is awesome! And the either the whole thing,
or even just the flower (lotus? chrysanthemum?) would make a great tattoo.

18. Well - I plan to animate them
It's fine art work (I'm an illustrator) so it's just for my own expression. But a gallery show is something I've always wanted to do here in NYC. We'll see.

Thank you very much for the kind words.

34. Great job.
I know jack shit about art. However the left and right ends of the design reminds of some kind of instrument, the "butterfly" reminds of some metal object or some kind of feature that would be on a fairy tale book from the olden days. The flower is "alive" and waving you in. So lots of interesting elements there. Very wavy/breezy. And like you said earlier it's tatooey. Great job.

35. Cool - thank you. My 1st influences were "children's books" or Fairy Tales
Illustrated by the golden age of illustrators so that is praise indeed. My next step is to animate them - I'll post what t looks like when I am done - shouldn't be too too long

Thanks again
