OK, so I had my 3rd "weigh in" at Weight Watchers
I am down only a pound this week. That's better than nothing. :)

But I dread the week when I go in and find that I am in a "leveling off" phase. I am told that it happens... that people who follow the program, can go through a period of no weight loss. I am hoping that adding another 5 minutes to my work-out routine will help me avoid that for now.

2. Keep going and don't get discouraged...
Losing weight is a tough long fight, but it's worth it.

In addition to the support from weight watchers, write down a secret list of things you want to do when the weight is off. Look at it once a week, adjust it as you like. It hels to have something to look forward to.

5. When I was on Atkins
(blech) I lost 15 pounds in one month. I didn't lose any more weight (5 lbs) until 6 months later. But by then, I was so sick of the diet, I made a big plate of mac and cheee and gained back 20 lbs in 5 minutes. :)

Anyway, everyone hits a plateau, so don't let it discourage you. Besides, everyone I know who stuck with Weight Watchers always lost the weight and kept it off, so I think you're on a good program that actually works in the real world.

Good luck :hi:
