On a totally non-self serving note, I'm glad to see that she would. I think every woman (ahem, nudge nudge) would do well with a street smart, well tuned self defense course. I especially like those that are geared towards women, enabling them to fight off those that might be bigger, stronger or in higher numbers than she might be.

She looks down on "fancy" martial arts quite a bit, and she sometimes gets asked to teach women's self-defense seminars.

The Krav Maga place she wants to go to isn't geared towards women, but the guy she earned her black belt with is studying there. She likes working out with him, and she wants to take their special knife fighting classes. The woman loves her knives.
