I just love getting new music

I use up all my Emusic downloads the day it renews. I am on the 100 downloads for $25 plan. Not bad- this time it was 9 albums worth of music. I got a lot of Stan Rogers. One of Canada's best. Left us way too soon (1983 in fact). Sort of in a Gordon Lightfoot/James Keelaghan vein (I think he's Canadian too). My favorite song is The May Ellen Carter.

Also got some Warren Zevon (Life'll Kill Ya), the latest Anders Osborne, The New Pornographers, the Pietasters, the Deadstring Brothers and Camera Obscura.

I guess I will have to buy the latest Subdudes. They must be on a label Emusic does not have. But I love that kind of music; I don't really know what to call it. So I am always looking for similar artists. I have discovered Marc Broussard, Bonepony (what a name), the Gourds, Calexico. Not that those are at all alike necessarily.
