Same cheese we always use - shredded Monterey Jack. But it won't melt.
We used it on a baked chicken dish we make often - it always melts beautifully. Not this time. My SO added some to his pizza the other night. Wouldn't melt. Today, it's quesadillas.
It just kind of forms little cheese nuggets, as if the shreds kind of blob together but they don't melt. Not even when they directly land in the pan. :scared:
