1. It's got a good cast.
Never heard of the director.

3. The BBC also made a version of the book.
Either version looks interesting, but I'll probably wait for the DVD.

4. I was hoping they'd film the Wideacre trilogy.
Total chick lit, but I can't resist.

8. I know!
Great stories, with potentially gorgeous cinematography. They might work well as a miniseries or something.

*sigh*

I'm such a sucker for sweeping historical fiction. :)

9. Me too.
I have not read the Wideacre series. I will have to check it out. Historical Fiction is my favorite thing.

5. That book is my favourite historical fiction book
I have read it so many times it's embarrassing. :P That being said, I've also read the script for the movie and they changed things around. Not little changes, but whole, crucial changes to Anne's character. I was really cringing when I read it. But I don't know... I'll go into the movie with an open mind. :)

7. That is what you have to do. A movie can NOT always be the
book. Keep an open mind. I want to see it on the big scree. For no other reason the settings and costumes. What magnificnet pagentry.
