Sigh... Deborah Kerr and Joey Bishop died
not together. At least I don't think so.

2. Awww!
I just watched Sleepless in Seattle for the umpteenth time the other day, thereby seeing An Affair to Remember by association for the umpteenth-plus-one time. And if they air it in honor of Deborah Kerr dying, I'll watch it AGAIN.

5. Check your tv listings.
I could swear I saw 'Affair' listed for sometime today or tomorrow.
That's some coincidence.

11. I'm going to watch "Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison" for the millionth time as
a tribute to her. (And Bob Mitchum is just as sexy as can be in that film, too.)

6. Joey Bishop had the coolest late night show in the late 60's

It was designed to compete with Johnny Carson. His sidekick was Regis Philbin, and he used to rag on him mercilessly until one night , he quit on the air.

7. ok - this is an attempt at a sub-thread - but what current movie stars today do you think future
generations will sigh for when they die?

I'm thinking maybe someone like Cate Blanchett.

12. She was one of my favorite actresses.
I loved her in "The King and I". Among many other films. She always, always personified class in her films.

That's sad to hear. :-(
