If you were going out of town for 3 days & 2 nights. Would you
leave your 2 kitties indoors or out? I live in the country. They stay out during the day and come in at night. They are brothers about 5 months old.

Last week-end I was gone for 36 hours and I left them inside.

Should I leave the radio on for them?

What would you do?

1. My dear Tuesday Afternoon!
I'd leave 'em inside...

They're much safer there!

How about having someone come by to check up on them?

Good luck!

2. Indoors.
Plenty of chow, water, and definitely leave the radio on.

My own personal OCD, I'd make sure all the toilet seat covers are down before you leave, especially since they are kittens.

3. mine are indoor cats
I'd leave 'em in, and have the cat sitter person come feed them, like I always do.

My cats are so pampered. :)

4. Definitely IN!
Make sure you leave plenty of water in different locations and lots of food. Inside is much safer than outside

5. Inside.
Definitely. Plenty of fresh food and water and maybe a second litter box. Put out a roll of TP for them to amuse themselves with.

:P

Seriously...they're safer inside. And they're going to be annoyed with you either way; at least inside you'll know where they are when you get back.

12. Hell...
All those ever do is hurt my foot when I crush 'em barefooted at 3 a.m.

Mine love to pull the TP all over the house when we're gone. Whether we leave it out for 'em or not. Once they went into the cabinet under the sink for it. Determined little.....dears.

Yeah. That's it.

Dears.

11. Leave them in.
However, if you have a window you can leave open, without leaving open the possibility of having your house broken into, you might want to do that. Then the kitteh's can go in and out as they please.

13. That is a possiblity. I have converted a doghouse for them.
They love it. Also, they can get under the house. There might be a way to take down a screen on one of the low windows:think:

Good idea, thanks :hi:
