Has anyone ever told off an abusive/mean boss when leaving the job?

I'm fortunate enough now to have a nice boss.

But I've had others who weren't so nice in the past, one in particular. Somebody like him I'd love to have been able to tell him just what I thought of his "management skills" before leaving. But since I still had to work in the same field I couldn't burn that particular bridge.

1. Yes, I have.
The man was a loon. He made fun of our disabled employees, would make their job difficult(speed up machines, refuse to provide proper tools) and then laugh at them. He'd scream and throw tools and parts. He really lost it when his SO threw him out. I'd heard he choked her and nearly threw her through a window. He slept in the factory with a gun, had alcohol in the lunchroom fridge, took his frustrations out on the females in the plant.

There's a lot more that I won't go into but suffice it to say he got in my face one too many times and I told him what I thought, collected my personal belongings and left. What's really weird is when I went in to pick up my last check, they begged me to come back to work for them. I'll never forget the look on his face of instant anger when I smiled sweetly and said NO!

There's another one who should have been told off and probably arrested. I once saw that guy beat a long butcher knife on a steel table and then shake it in another employee's face. That poor woman had tears dripping off her face, she was terrified and so was I. He's a local, runs a deli store and I haven't been in that place since the day I left.

2. yes
I worked for a sexist, racist asshole who would spend the petty cash on strippers while our checks bounced. One day I decided to pick a fight with him I knew I'd lose after he made some rude comment to one of our employees working under me. Not only did I tell him off, but I ratted him out to OSHA (our forklift had no friggin brakes!), Microsoft, and the IRS. Screw you, buddy.
