How do I look up this record? Any baseball fans here who can help me out?

Besides, I think the Indians may need all the help they can get tonight.

2. The answer to "what is the biggest deficit" is "Being an Indian"; however,
that is not the answer to your entire question, since there has yet to be a "come back from" in that equation.

3. I'm not sure, but in 2001, the Mariners were ahead of the Indians 12-1
going into the bottom of the ninth (Indian's half), and they came back and beat the Mariners 13-12.

Since then, I have learned never to say never. It really ain't over 'till the fat lady sings.

4. Here's your answer
http://en.allexperts.com/q/Baseball-Trivia-General-2552/comebacks.htm

The biggest deficit that a team ever overcame to win a game is 12 runs. The Tigers were down 13-1 going into the bottom of the 5th inning on 6/18/1911. They won the game 16-15.

The A's tied this mark when they were down 14-2 in a game on 6/15/1925. They won the game 17-15.

I consider the biggest comeback though a game played on 5/23/1901. Cleveland was losing 13-5 in the bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, no one on base. They then scored 9 runs to win the game 14-13.

That last one is by far the most amazing. Note that it was Cleveland that pulled it off.

6. Thanks for this...
...Compared to that, a 9-run deficit may not be the end of the world.

Oh CRAP, as I finished writing this, it turned into 10. Oh well...

5. I know one that fell just short
May 5, 1958 — Pittsburgh at San Francisco (Seals Stadium). Giants went into the bottom of the ninth trailing 11-1, and here's what happened:

GIANTS 9TH: Jablonski singled to left; Cepeda singled to right (Jablonski to second); Sauer reached on an error by Thomas (Cepeda to second, Jablonski to third); Kirkland made an out to second; KING BATTED FOR THOMAS; King doubled to right (Sauer to third, Cepeda scored, Jablonski scored); ANTONELLI BATTED FOR BURNSIDE; Antonelli doubled to right (King scored (unearned), Sauer scored); SPEAKE BATTED FOR BRESSOUD; Speake doubled to center (Antonelli scored); RAYDON REPLACED LAW (PITCHING); Mays walked; Spencer forced Mays, shortstop to second (Speake to third); Jablonski homered (Speake scored (unearned), Spencer scored (unearned)); BLACKBURN REPLACED RAYDON (PITCHING); Cepeda homered; Sauer walked; O'CONNELL RAN FOR SAUER; GROSS REPLACED BLACKBURN (PITCHING); SCHMIDT BATTED FOR KIRKLAND; Schmidt walked (O'Connell to second); FINIGAN BATTED FOR KING; Finigan reached on an error by Groat (Schmidt to second, O'Connell to third); TAUSSIG BATTED FOR ANTONELLI; Taussig made an out to second; 9 R (4 ER), 7 H, 2 E, 3 LOB. Pirates 11, Giants 10.
