2. Thanks for asking
I think she's doing pretty well. She has her moments, which is normal. She adopted a rescue kitty today and named her "Fiona." I hope she will post pictures soon! I've seen her picture on the shelter website, and she's a darling.

4. I think the one she got is between 1-3 years old
She said she was exploring the house tonight and hanging out on the dining room chair. I hope she'll curl up and sleep with Sue.

We usually call him "Sunny," but make sure to use "Sunflower" a lot, too.

7. Thanks!
I did get your PM about the ringworm, BTW - I appreciate your help! The area seems much, much improved, and the hair is growing back. We let him out of his room Tuesday night. He's been staying in the room during the day while we're gone, but I think we'll start leaving him out all the time now. Monty isn't happy, but leaves him alone, and Morrissey loves having a little playmate.

14. I'm glad he's improving!
 We still have a few with some stubborn areas, but most of them are completely well now. It sure is a pain! I'm glad he's getting along. Monty will get used to him. We have two kitties who want to be only children ... but we told them it's tough luck. So they tolerate the others.

9. He's got that sleepy, seductive look in his eyes again.
Also, I can just hear him purring and picture him kneading nonstop! :loveya:

18. He's a lean, mean, purring machine!
I wish I'd gotten better pictures of him sleeping in my husband's arms a while ago. I was afraid to move for fear I'd wake him. Suffice to say it was VERY cute.

10. He's got quite a distinctive appearance!
I can't remember the last time I saw an orange tabby
with a solid orange body like that. He's gonna be a
strikingly handsome cat soon; a real one-in-a-million.

Those pics make it pretty clear that he LOVES a certain someone
and he doesn't care who knows it!

19. He's definitely not your "average" orange tabby
His head markings are very orange, without the defined "M" of the tabby. His body is indeed solid orange. His stripes are on his legs.

He's very much a people cat - he stays with us about 90% of the time. The rest of the time he's chasing and jumping on Morrissey!

So affectionate. You are lucky. My girls are pretty affectionate now, but when they were itty-bitty they were feral (found wandering in a friend's yard) so they either were a) hiding or b)running around like total maniacs!(more common). I think you have a genuine lap kitty there!
And he does look like he has a "Sunny" disposition...
:)

On edit; Glad to hear your sister is doing better..kitties are good for comfort as I am sure you well know..How's the new job going as well?

20. Sunny was feral, too - he got used to love at the vet's office
When he was tiny he got litter stuck in his paws and spent a couple of weeks at the vet while they cleaned up his paws and treated the resultant infection. He grew to love being handled. He also runs around like a maniac, but is spending ever more time with us. He's had a lot of house to explore and has covered every inch of it now!

Thanks for your concern about my sister Sue. I know it'll take a long time, but time does heal. And my job is great - I'm very thankful to have a mentoring attorney, because I have a LOT to learn. This week we'll meet the managing attorney and get our offices (I hope), as well as attend interesting trials and hearings and see how things are done.

24. He definitely is
He was sleeping in Mr. DTBK's arms a while ago and was soooooo cute. He loves to lie on our necks and shoulders and just watch what we're doing. He also loves to walk across the laptop keyboard (or sit on it).

27. He bonded almost immediately
When I first held him at his foster home, he was a little scared and grabbed onto my shoulders with his claws. After a few minutes he started purring. He purred all the way home in the carrier and purred when I got him set up in his bedroom. Now he starts purring as soon as he hears our voices. I can be in the other room and he'll be sitting with Mr. DTBK, and when I enter the room he'll start purring loudly. I want to make sure to give him all the love he wants so he'll be a happy cat as he grows up.

29. He has taken over the household
He runs everything. He decides who eats what, when and where, which human will sit and where and when he can sit on our laps, etc. etc.

31. I do - he loves to have his belly scratched, too
We just had company, and he wasn't scared of them - he frolicked through the living room, tried to chew on a purse and ended up curling up next to the purse for a catnap. It's good knowing that he seems to like people as much as we had hoped.
