Radiohead's "In Rainbows" is bloody genius!
Just downloaded and played this for the first time. Being a fan of Radiohead, I felt they deserved the full £6 (that's $12-something) for this album.

Damn! There's some great stuff on this. Some tunes hearken back to older tunes - but the whole time the album explores the subconscious with haunting melodies and lyrics that have double and sometimes triple meanings to them.

If you even remotely like Radiohead, get this album. It's worth it.

1. The full six quid?
You're havin a laugh, right? Sticker price is around 80, IIRC... 'course, that's with the video extras... but still!

But yes, it's bloody gorgeous. They are my favorite band.

7. I'm glad somebody is actually trying this kind of pricing scheme.
The biggest fans, and the ones with enough disposable income, will pay more than enough for an elaborate boxed set to make up for whatever you think you might lose by letting people pay what they want for the mp3 downloads, especially for a band with the reputation of being the best in the world.

And, of course, the album is great.

8. It's worth the full price!
Honestly! My favorite tune is either "Jigsaw Falling into Place" or "All I Need"

9. Of course it is - I paid £5 for it myself.
But a lot of people that want to listen to the album don't always have £5 to spare at that moment, so it's that or Kazaa. :)

12. I love House of Cards and Nude.
And the train sound at the end of Videotape makes me very happy, too. :)

14. I'm a fanatic...
I will listen to their stuff nonstop for months, so... I'm weird.

But yes... it's GORGEOUS. Blissing out is very much my favorite term to use for getting lost in it... *sigh*

15. Blissing out
Yes, an apt description. Listening to it is the closest thing on this Earth to smoking Opium. And I mean that in a good way.

16. solid album
I downloaded it about a week ago and have been listening to it a lot. I would say I like about half the songs...3,5 and 7 being my favorites. "All I Need" is outstanding.
