We had a breakthrough last night when Monty actually licked Sunflower's head twice. He's been hissing and growling at him, and that was a first. Morrissey has a better relationship with him - they've been chasing and fighting playfully. Tonight Morrissey came up to sit with me, and Sunny came over and joined him, and Morrissey licked him and then they settled down together.

I was happy when my old boy Duke finally made friends with Maya. They still don't snuggle but they play a lot.

He hissed at Morrissey for several days when we got Morrissey, but Sunny's been out of his room for a week now and Monty is still hissing at him. Has he just become an old grouch now?

I guess they've found their own positive reinforcement, but a lot of reassurance now will cement this behavior.
