Saw a number of other performances of the same song, as well- Michael Ball, Ted Neely, some more amateurish....all good, but this...the guy just nailed it.

3. He's good, I'll admit
but no one will ever top Neely. Honestly, it is a religious experience every time I watch Gethsemane from the movie. Chills.

I was lucky enough to see JCS where Carl Anderson play Judas, but an understudy (instead of Neely) played Jesus for our performance :cry:
