6. I make hundreds of unnecessary car journeys every year...

...in order to use up fossil fuels that much more quickly, thereby hastening the arrival of alternative energy sources (via some sort of magic, I'm sure.) I may buy a Hummer or one of those 18-wheeler-truck-cabs disguised-as-SUVs next year, so that I can increase my contribution to the ultimate greening of America. Or I may just pour gasoline into a wading pool every morning and set the whole thing alight.
