Some of you have heard of the Free State Project. The FSP was an effort by "libertarians" to find a state that they could turn into a model society of Ayn Randian righteousness. They picked New Hampshire.
Well, they've been having a grand old time lately. One of their members, a woman named Lauren Canario, is being held at the Valley Street jail in Manchester. The Free Staters say she's a "political prisoner".
Actually, she was caught doing 73 in a 55 zone (on a dangerous stretch of road). She then refused to show her license and registration to the Milford police officer who pulled her over. Jailarity then ensued when she clammed up and her husband started badgering the cop about his gun:
