They have to readjust the velcro closure ever time they hold the bat, even if they don't swing at the ball. I mean come one after at least the first 10 times you put the damn things on you would think they would figure out where to fasten them at to make them stay on and be comfortable.

3. Nomar Garciaparra
Is the king of glove adjustment - I wish there was a youtube link - his hands are a blur as he adjusts and re-adjusts his gloves - OCD I think.

7. One of the players for the Red Sox was constantly adjusting his.
I can't remember his name, but he is the one who knocked that one big white guy out. I have seen a pic on here of it.

8. The Yankees' Jorge Posada
is one of the few players currently who bats completely barehanded (gloveless.) I noticed that right off, and always kinda admired it.

11. I remember a day that baseball players and football players played bare handed.
Now everybody has to wear gloves.

9. i used to do the same thing with my catcher's mitt
tap my chest twice every time i went into my crouch. i tapped my chest so a wild pitch would know where to go. you have to do these things or the baseball gods will smite you.

12. Well it is like that player who has to spit in his hand and then clap twice...
Before he bats, it is a rythm. I understand that, but for some reason the messing with the gloves just bugged me.
