I've been a little fidgety all day, anxiously awaiting the time when I would finally be able to watch the Colorado Rockies in the World Series. The first pitch is about an hour and a half away, and I couldn't hold back any more.

The defense is playing as well as it can, but he's serving up one soft pitch after another and these guys are punishing him for it.

I'm not too worried yet. 3-0 is a big hole against a great pitcher like Beckett, but it's not an impossible hole.

The grinders like Atkins, Hawpe, Tulo, and Spilborghs need to step up and drag the Rockies back into this game and hope that Francis can calm himself down enough to keep the Rockies from falling any further behind.

97. To me it looks like the only one on the Rockies playing TRULY badly is Francis.

The Rockies are getting a decent look at Beckett and they have some hits, but Beckett is just ON tonight. You can't blame Colorado's offense when their starting pitcher is THIS good. This game turned ugly pretty early for us, that's sure!

Hopefully we can bounce back tomorrow night in Game 2. I still have hopes that we can come back in this game but those are dwindling pretty quickly right about now! :rofl:
