Bad news for Battlestar Galactica fans

According to the LA Times, Ron Moore has announced that the final series won't premier until APRIL and they may possibly spread it out over 2008 and 2009. That is just cruel.

Interest does wane if they leave it too long. And I'm one of those who watch one episode a week to nurse it out. And those who gobble an entire series in a week have even a longer period to lose interest.

Maybe they ought to take the long view. With the economy crumbling, down the line a lot of DVD watchers will pass if they wait too long for the release. Belts are already tightening.

Can't let the big time Hollywood sequels wait until BSG finishes, huh?

At the conclusion of Season 3 when they said that Season 4 would premier in 2008, I was stunned! I mean... The show is just awesome, and the wait will be more than worth it but... APRIL?! That is just not fair.
