10. Hmmmmmmmmm. That's tough
I love it but it never moved me the way other Roger Water's stuff did but more so at points. That should make sense in a Pink Floyd way

There are some songs on the Wall that are unbelievably good but, pound for pound, it can't hold up to Animals

4. For some reason, I was thinking about Obscured by Clouds earlier today
Not one that would pop immediately to mind in a discussion of the best floyd albums, I know, but it has its place for sure.

11. It's got to be The Final Cut
Incidentally, I once dropped a harp and a crate of saucepans down a fire escape, and I thereby exactly reproduced everything by Syd Barrett. Amazing!

I joke, of course. I'm not a fan, and I think that he's given far too much credit for Floyd's overall success, but I have nothing against him. Just not my cup of tea.

20. I got the Echoes CDs.
And I was surprised that "Welcome to the Machine" and "Have a Cigar" weren't on it.

Then I thought about it a while and realized why they weren't. Oh well.

24. Yeah me too...I had one my weirder trips with that album....
Did some acid (purple barrel) and it must have had some strychnine in it. Sick but FLYING. After the party, I just laid on the couch, put a cat on my tummy, and turned on the radio (not in that order). Back then radio was free form, so the DJ put on the Meddle album. I just closed my eyes and grooved. The music gave me body rushes from head to toe. I could FEEL the music in every pore and nerve ending. The sights in my minds eye were just electric. One of the most intense music listening moments I ever had.

21. There is only one true Floyd album, "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn"
After Barrett was booted, Pink Floyd died. Anything with Gilmour is utter crap.

I don't believe that, I just wanted to see what it feels like being one of those boring music snobs.

25. On a HS Band trip to Bermuda, I brought a tape player and Meddle
and I can attest to the absolute beauty of lounging on the beach and listening to Fearless and Echoes......

Once, I was taking a psychedelic excursion and it began to snow heavily near dawn and Echoes was playing and as I looked into the sky at all the lovely snowflakes falling, I heard the line

Come streaming in on sunlight wings
A million bright ambassadors of morning

That was a very nice and warm feeling.....

Meddle is my favorite but I really like all of the Floyd Albums up to The Wall......
