Holy crap! Youtube works on my computer now!
I had just about given up all hope of it ever working properly on my laptop again and I just happened to click on a youtube link in another post and holy shit it worked! I don't know why or how but rejoice youtube is working again! I'm so happy!!!

4. I had given up removing and re-installing flash and resigned myself to a "youtube-less world"
and BAM! it was working perfectly...I don't get it
