My Old Alma Mater, the St. Louis Park (MN) Orioles:

Oct 17 BENILDE-ST. MARGARET'S L 35-0 0-8

Outscored 361-28 in the whole season and didn't score a single point at home. Shut out 6 times.

This has got to win the award for worst high school football team in the nation.

Between 1996 and 2004, my old high school football team was an astonishing was 0-74.

That's not a typo. They lost 74 straight games.

Correct me if I'm wrong, sports fans, but I believe that's a record for futility among high school football programs.

It wasn't until the school district merged with two others (very rural and sparsely populated) that they broke the losing streak. And they did it with a vengeance. They're in the playoffs this year for the third straight season.
