All the 4 star jobs (meaning most likely to get) were medical transcriptionists and lawyers.

All the 1 star jobs were programmers.

The chart claimed network administrator jobs were 3 stars.

Graphic designers, authors, comedians, and writers were 2 stars.

Not related to the chart, the entrepreneur lady said people were leaving graphic design to go to programming. I told her the opposite; leaving programming FOR graphic design...

Others say the jobs are out there, and it's a matter of being what they want (not as much wage but the image/product created). And others say the opposite - it's a matter of wage, who cares what it looks like. I suspect that latter group (which includes Microsoft?) won't last very long.

All I know is, mass marketing makes a mass out out of us all; smaller, more loyal audiences seem to be the ticket. Genre-specific works.

is that statistically the majority of lawyers are self-employed. Many of them can't get jobs either. But they can start their own practice.

One of the states where I am licensed regularly surveys its bar members. Over the last 20 to 30 years about 70% have consistently reported being self-employed.

The mileage may vary from state to state.
