8. It was a wild answer a contestant gave on Match Game

I can't recall if it was a regular question or the question at the end, but it was "Trench blank." Instead of answering "Trench coat" or "Trench foot," the contestant said "Trench hand." Richard went on a riff off of that, marking up his hand & making an appeal for people to call in with donations to end Trench Hand disease. A few months later, he was filming a McMillan & Wife episode, & some lady came up & gave him a $20 for a "Trench Hand disease cure."
