Question for Baseball gurus...
Has any team ever won 4 straight in the World Series...back to back ...as the Sox might do.. ??

1. As in a 4 game sweep? Quite a few times.
The Red Sox won the 2004 World Series with a 4 game sweep of the Cardinals.

2. I think the question was whether any team had swept twice in 2 consecutive appearances

5. Ahh, I see. I believe the Yankees did it.
1998 and 1999... They swept both the Padres and the Braves.

If you include back-to-back appearances, as you would be with Boston, Cincinnati did it in 1976 and 1990.

8. Yes
Yankees did it a few years ago, sweeping the San Diego Padres in 1998 and the Atlanta Braves in 1999.
