It's getting Verrrry Boring being a Patriots fan
Edited on Sun Oct-28-07 05:25 PM by NewHampster
and i'm not wild about the Rockies not giving the Sox a good go either.

When will the NFL go for parity like MLB? No, the National League does not come up to par with the American League but within the leagues we do have a semblance of parity. The Indians and Sox did go to 7 games.

I want excitement and nail biting in my sports, not steam rolling.

1. I would say you should be happy your teams are playing so well.
To me, it sounds like you're COMPLAINING about the success of your teams. Some of us are just happy their teams are even playing.

2. I'm happy. I love our insanely great teams
But it is getting boring. Plain and simple. I'm typing and reading DU because the Pats are running away with another game.

Boring

3. Well, there are two options:
Either deal with it being "boring" that your teams are crushing their opponents, or have people like me come along and poke at you for COMPLAINING about perhaps the most trivial thing I have ever seen on these boards.

And, frankly, that's saying a lot.

4. I thought trivial
was the guy who had to run back out for another Halloween costume.

The Pats and Sox are not trivial. The Bruins are trivial.

6. I didn't say the Red Sox and the Patriot were trivial.
I said your complaints about them winning so much is trivial. Just be happy your team is winning so much and don't whine about it!

The Pats will go 16-0 and then lose in the playoffs.

15. It's just amazing.
I mean, I knew the Patriot would be good this year, but THIS good?

They're playing on an entirely different planet than the rest of the NFL. The only team that even comes close is Indy. Should be a great game next week!

23. I used to not have a problem with the Pats however
since they seem to LOVE to run up the score on EVERYBODY I think I am rooting for the Colts big time next week.

25. Maybe the other teams should put up some defense?
I have little sympathy for this "running up the score" griping when the Patriots clearly do not revel and brag in their scoremaking--they just simply play.

28. Hmmm...
Considering I have heard this complaint about the Pats from numerous other teams, not sure I believe you.
Seriously do you think that Joe Gibbs if he was in Belichick's position would do the same. Nope.Belichick and co. are arrogant pricks (if very talented) in my book.

27. Yes it's easy being a fan when they are winning
TRUE fans are fans even when they lose. My Vikings always lose these days. As do every other team I root. HMMM, I could root for NEw England. Maybe they would start losing then. Would that help? LOL.

29. You'll wake up next week when the Pats play at the Colts.
Wow, what a game that will be. As anticipated as the Super Bowls.

Two really great teams. This Lions fan (AHEM - 5-2) looks forward to it.

Pop the popcorn, and lay in a six-pack. Zowie.
