Ribeye marinated in Bourbon
Actually, Maker's Mark.

Have to be well fed for the Red Sox victory party.

1. Maker's Mark. . .
You know how to do it right. Now I'm hungry - no ribeye or Maker's though.

Bon appetit!

3. I've never tried bourbon.
Sounds good. I marinate in a mix of spices and red wine.

4. Just a touch of bourbon for a few minutes
The meat really soaks it up.

Then I use salt and pepper. Gas grill on High all the way 'til done in the flames.

Yummmmmmmmmmm

5. JUST A FEW MINUTES??
I always think the longer the better. BTW couldn't you have posted this yesterday when I was cooking a ribeye?

And nothing else besides S and P?

6. That's all
Sometimes I use a store bought rub instead but a new bottle of Maker's demands something besides ice.

PS. I'm not a long time marinater, as in years. I like the taste of the meat so for most of my life I've cooked without anything. No spices at all.

That said. I think the bourbon brings out the flavor and gives the steak a little moistness inside and crispiness out.

7. Thanks, I will surely try it.
I'll even buy a bottle just to cook with.
