Late night depression
Does anyone feel emotionally terrible when they're sleep deprived?

I'm still working on that damn history assignment - it is MASSIVE (32 questions answered in full sentence/paragraph format, plus a 1000 word essay.) I have another short homework assignment after this - WAY shorter, thank god. Should only take me 10-20 minutes to do.

I just feel really crappy right now. Like staying up past 11 reminds me of everything that upsets me - it's weird. This has happened before...and it sucks.

2. I get slaphappy when I'm that tired
usually when visiting my parents for a holiday. I work a 10 hours shift, then I have to drive an hour to pick up my kid, get to the airport, fly for three hours, then it's a 90-minute drive to their house... so I get silly and slaphappy and talk too fast.

Hang in there.

3. Yep, and here I am.
I'm sort of in your boat: no sleep, and a research paper and a final due Tuesday. I'm sorry, AspieGrrl. It sucks, no?

4. If you're missing sleep feeling off is normal
I mean, your body and mind need time to recharge after being in operation for so long - especially if you're putting them to work doing strenuous mental activity - and any break in your normal cycle will cause you to feel weird.

Try and finish up quick and get as much sleep as you can. I'd wager that when you get back on track you'll be more focused and less prone to sadness or irritability.

6. Yes, that's a killer for me.
Just stay clear of me if I'm short on sleep.
