4. You're in IN, so I believe you are just supposed to light your clocks on fire.
I'll never know what time it is in that state! :sigh:

8. If it's next week, cool.
It figures- my sister told me it was this week. I shoulda known. Still, I wonder why the clock on my computer set itself back an hour today?

11. I think the computers are automatic...
Although I did hear that they were supposed to have gotten some sort of patch that would have stopped the time change.

I know my computer didn't fall back...

:hi:

12. Yes, they are automatic
if you happen to put a checkmark in the correct place (double click on your system clock then go to the Time Zone tab. Look at the bottom for the item that says "Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Savings Time").

I still wonder why mine changed a week early. Damn that Bill Gates.....

15. Because, like me,
you must have an older computer that hasn't been updated in a very long time. Don't forget to manually reset it next weekend.

14. Well it should to be the last weekend in October
but the lawmakers decided to change it to fook with our heads. So, yes I got fooled until I checked it out today.

It used to be the first weekend in April (spring forward) last weekend in October (fall back)

But now, it's the last weekend in March and the first weekend in November.

18. At the gym yesterday morning the clock said "8:58"
When I didn't even leave the house until 9:13! I think either their clocks reset themselves a week early or the staff didn't realize it's next week. I had to Google it to make sure it was next week!

I also like getting my hour back. I'm one of the weirdos who likes it when it gets dark early. Of course, now that I have a 30-mile commute home, I might not like it as much!

19. My microwave thought it was this week.
When we set the time a few months ago, we clicked on the "Daylight Saving Time" button so it would change on its own ... but they apparently didn't program in the new date. So it was an hour behind when we woke up yesterday. Do we need to call the Geek Squad?

21. Oh THIS is going to suck.
Asshole dogs have been getting up, wanting to be let out then fed anywhere from 3:00 to 4:00 A-FUCKING-M. NOW they'll be doing it at 2-3 AM.

Thanks for spoiling them all rotten, honey.

Life just keeps getting better...

22. All the automatically changing electronics were screwed up this past weekend.
Edited on Mon Oct-29-07 08:59 AM by BrklynLib at work
One had to download some software last spring to sto the pc from changing automatically.
VCRs, cell phones and other electronic knick-knacks had no such download available.
Does anyone know if this is going to be permanent change? Ok I see the article answered that question....

24. Yup, they've moved it and it's next week, as if this wasn't confusing enough...
But it hardly matters, since it has already started to get dark so early...:-(

I just can't see to drive in the dark (night blindness), so I have to remember to check the time the sun sets before I drive any distance...:scared:
