21. New thing that we ( my wife and I) have discovered in the Duplex we live in now.

We have a extra cat, it is a black tuxedo cat. I started noticing it right after we moved in, and it usually shows up around the fall and winter. The first time I saw it, I was on call and was up late dealing with an outage. I was in the front room on my work laptop, and I was on the phone with a technician in the field. I looked around the side of the laptop and this black and white cat was looking over the arm of the couch at me. I asked "And, who are you?" and it dropped down behind the arm of the couch. I know it was not any of our cats, because they were all in bed with my wife. And we do not have a black and white tuxedo cat. I every once in a while will see a cat walking down the hall to the bedroom, and I look and all four of ours are in the front room with us. Harry our rabbit watches something walk from the kitchen into the living room. And there is nothing there. He will stomp a warning when no one is around and bugging him. I hear it walk up my ramps I have for the step down in to the living room from the hall and the kitchen. They have a rough section on them for traction and I hear a cat walk down or up them and there is not a cat there. My wife had heard it walk up and down the ramps and she sees it disappear down the hall ever once in awhile. I have heard it drinking out of our bedroom water dish we have for the cats. So instead of people ghosts this time, we have a cat.

28. We had one of those in our old house.

A little tortie--very dainty.

We had three regular cats and they would all be asleep on the bed and we'd hear a cat howling in the kitchen. At first I just blew it off thinking I much have been mistaken when I thought I'd seen all the cats sleeping in one spot.

Finally after a few times with this noise thing happening, I actually saw her sitting out by the food bowls. I checked and I actually touched each of our cats on the bed to make SURE they were all there. Later, I walked thru another room and I saw her sitting on the cat tree.

I told hubby about it and he laughed at me. He had the same experience shortly after that, however. He swears to this day that he saw that cat in our house. He also swears that it was a ghost...

Sadly, she didn't move with us.

34. Well it was a surprise to look up and see a cat looking over the arm of the couch at me.

I was not expecting it. It gave me a start at first, but then I just talked to it, and it blinked its eyes at me and lowered down behind the couch.
