How do I keep my iPod buds from falling out of my years?
1. I put in the buds.

2. I go running.

3. During said run I sweat.

4. Buds get slippery, fall out of ears.

How do I stop this from happening?

4. New ones don't come with the foam covers anymore..
I just bought three Shuffles and two Video Nanos and none of them had the foam covers.

Anyway, the ear-buds that come with iPods are shitty. I would suggest the OP buy a new pair that fit. Even a cheap 10$ pair from Sony will sound better.

3. You can't.
I bought a set of Shure headphones. You can run all day and they'll stay in place.

6. Buy a good, elastic
terry-cloth head band. Put it on, put earbuds in,
pull headband down to cover earbuds. This will hold
them in while you run.

Just remember not to cover your eyes with the head band.

Not only do they usually fit much better, but the sound quality is much much better

14. staples or nails maybe
I work with headphones on throughout my entire shift and I have spent the last 10 years in search of a set of headphones that doesn't fall out or give me an earache or both. This was an expensive option but I finally went to an audiologist and had custom-fit ear buds made of my ears. It's a soft silicon type material with a little bit of give to it but contoured to fit my canals. They're very comfortable and they don't fall out. But, as I said, they're kind of pricey. I know there are places online where you can order them (they will send you a kit to make the mold of your ear canals --- you need a helper but it's very easy) and it's much cheaper than from the audiologist. Here http://www.podfitkit.com/?gclid=CKbhyo_6to8CFRuRIwodq1cGZQ the one on the right is very similar to the one I got from the audiologist and about 1/3 the cost.

Good luck.

17. Buy new ones.
The ones that come with the iPod are ok for sitting an listening, but for exercising, you need something else. I bought the MX75 Sport from Sennheiser for about 35 bucks. They sound good and stick right in my ears when I work out.
