Very funky, dank brew. From Humboldt County, and it shows. This is the closest you can get with beer to smoking a joint. It tastes like instead of hops, they used the stickiest dankest nugs for dry hopping. Very yummy.

no shit. In and amongst the cannabis which gives it a little zazz from the pollen and resins.

And I'll bet they're the only HC brewery that does that...

Even Humboldt's Hemp Ale isn't this dank

3. One of the five best beers in the world.....

I love Lost Coast Brewing. Their Downtown Brown and Sunset IPA is pretty good too. At the brewery, they also have mead on tap!

They only have it on tap at the brewery. More beery than winelike (some meads are the other way). They have great food there too and it is a really funky brewery.

Speaking of Humboldt brewers.....Ever drink Mad River's Jamaica Red? That is some heady beer too...a HUGE hoppy unflitered red. (And they are the brewers responsible for Sunset IPA not Lost Coast).

I've always dreamed of buying Clodfelter's in Corvallis, my College town - and turning it into a brewpub. Buying the houses around the tavern would be nice for that tavern and bed idea.
