I'm playing Rising by Lustmord in my office. Here's what it says on the package:

Recorded live at The Center for Inquiry, Los Angeles, June 6 2006, as a live accompaniment to the Satanic High Mass celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Church of Satan.

So yeah, it's nice and dark. And just spooky enough for Halloween, too.

The Cat... well the cat is completely useless. . . but it can't be sacrficed on the grounds that it was the great grand mother's cat and therefore has immunity.

17. I thought about sacrificing a goat for a little while...

I set the old printer to run out a 36-foot-long piece of vinyl. About halfway in, the printer started leaving big globs of ink all over the media, it started printing slow, with light bands in the image, and then it changed the color of this gray area from gray to green--it ran out of light-magenta ink on cartridge 10 and forgot to tell us.

Now...a nice quick goat sacrifice would probably solve all those problems, and if you don't burn it after killing it you could turn around and sell it for a couple hundred dollars to a Hispanic guy who likes goat meat.

Unfortunately, I don't know where in Lumberton they sell goats.

19. I had a piece of chicken to stave off the sugar coma I was lapsing into.

I've been mostly veg*n for most of this years. I'm s-l-o-w-l-y recovering from an ear infection, and when I told my daughter of my deviant behavior I thought she asked me if that meant I was officially becoming a Presbyterian.

She actually asked if I was officially a "flexitarian," which is apparently the word for whatever it is that I am.
