My Halloween quandry
I work at a hospital. All three of my Halloween costumes are out of the question for me...

Costume #1 is a Homeland Security agent, complete with black tactical jacket and trousers, combat boots, etc. Too many folks at the hospital may think I'm a real cop.

Costume #2 is a jailbird, complete with black-and-white striped cap, shirt, and trousers. Only thing is, we treat a lot of prisoners from the county jail here, and they've started making the inmates wear the traditional black-and-white stripes again, so the cops might see me and think I'm an escapee.

Costume #3 is my Heaven's Gate alien, complete with black robes, purple triangle, and black Nikes. Unfortunately, I've gained too much weight to pull this one off.

So how am I celebrating Halloween at work? By playing the Rising album by Lustmord over the speakers. My co-worker next door loves it.

Happy Halloween, everyone!
