Holy smokes, that's shocker. If it's true that they approved the Jackson flash then it's pretty obvious that we're in serious trouble.

You can't criticise the pResident during major TV events but you can flash your pasties?

Not that I'm opposed to the flash, I just think that CBS has some serious explaining to do.

This is a content issue, right?

2. While I'm not opposed to flesh on network TV there are a hell of a lot...
...of people who are offended.

8. Mr. DemBones tells me there was a beer ad that featured

a farting horse causing an explosion. . . after beginning as a romantic carriage ride for a couple.

So, if the demographic that watches the Super Bowl is presumed to respond to Janet's bare breasts and a romantic interlude being wrecked by a farting horse, we might conclude that it's a demographic that woldn't respond to, wouldn't even "get" the MoveOn ad. Perhaps the MoveOn ad is simply too subtle, i.e. not tasteless enough, for the football-watching masses.

Or the powers-that-be at CBS have misunderstood their demographic and are insulting its members. It's certain that CBS has behaved badly.
