Poll question: Humbug! Best Scrooge Ever!
Who's Your Favorite Scrooge?

No. Dick Cheney is not on the list...

Please post your "Other" choices, as I didn't have enough room to include Fred Flintstone (1994) or Tori Spelling (2003). I've never seen that last one, but any cast that includes William Shatner as the Ghost of Christmas Present and Gary Coleman as the Ghost of Christmas Past has got to be good!

1. Good to see some love for Henry Winkler!
That was an interesting version, but I never see it on cable during the holidays. Don't know if it's on DVD, either.

2. Alastair Sim was the definitive Scrooge.
In my opinion.

4. That was my vote...
I've seen all of these. I actually watched the Mr. Magoo (which blows, IMHO) because I read an interview with Bill Murray, who said that they discussed the Magoo version while making "Scrooged."

5. Since Mr. Magoo was my first Scrooge,

he'll always be the standard by which others are judged. I know that makes it hard on the 3-D actors, but hey, they're professionals. They can take it.

7. Alistair Sim closely followed by
George C. Scott. AMC is playing the Scott version, nobody is doing the Sim's version this year that I can find. I have it on tape, I need to get it converted over to dvd.

8. Albert Finney
becuase that version has so much ear candy in it!

I'm probably ther only one too who hates Bill Murray's Scrooged. It so reeks of 80's and does not hold up well to time at all.
