4. It's fun when you have young kids. Without that factor, maybe not so much so, but we'll
still keep the "giving" part to the fore; when the Little Guy gets a few more years older, we'll be at the Soup Kitchen, cooking and serving.

You can bet on that.

5. I work retail
Christmas to me is about working very, very hard among crabby customers in crowded conditions for long hours while listening to a constant repeated loop of horrible music and commercials.

It always cracks me up when people talk about the christmas season as a time when everyone is full of holiday cheer, happy and bright, and all that other claptrap. People seem a lot more stressed and irritable at this time of year to me. :shrug:
