8. Being divorced, it really gets to me....

And my kids all grown up and doing their families things...... And me having to deal with my 80 yr old parents is just too much really. I was just thinking today about how this is the most depressed I have ever been in my life.

My mood can be so negative at times, and believe it or not, I'm actually an optimistic, nice person. :)

But in this state of mind, EVERYBODY and anything seems to bug me. :(

I WANT to get off my fanny and do things, but it's dark most of the day and minus 40 below. Just want to hibernate. :)

19. You might want to think about getting a light box

Unfortunately not cheap; a cursory internet search indicates the cheapest are $100 US, but they're supposed to help a lot. Failing that, drink a lot of V8 and/or orange juice. Anyway, they've always helped me in winter.

If the depression is just seasonal affective disorder..It is worth a hundred or two to find out. If it is always dark, as you said in a n earlier post, this could be the solution. However, if this last a very long time, you need to seek help...best of luck..solar.

20. I really love Christmas

But I've been pretty much alone the last two years. Makes me feel so down. So I can relate. Hopefully yours won't last all season like mine seems to. I went out tonight to a singles thing, and I think I am even more down after that than I was before I went. Oh well, this too shall pass. Right? Nothing lasts forever, not even the bad times.
