17. Actually, that brings up a funny story from years past...

I was living with my best friend, Lanetra, and she told me that when she first met me, she thought I was such an asshole. She thought it was funny as hell considering that we got so close over the years, like brother and sister.

All I can say is that if I were a troll, I would have to break the record for being the longest troll here on DU, been here a little over 6 years now. I prefer being an ass, trolls are ugly, asses, on the other hand, can be quite the opposite. ;)

Never been asked that before, I chose my username because its the namesake of the founder of Athenian Democracy. As far as my real job, well, I have two, one that I like, one that I love. I'm a computer "technician", basically a handyman for computer problems. I like that, I'm technically minded, so it suits me. The other job is that I'm a Journalist as well, for a no account local newsmagazine, but a Journalist nonetheless. I am such a geek. Oh, I'm also writing a political book and a couple of novels, but who isn't doing that these days?

I love that! Solon was an OK guy, so I just took the name when I signed up. I figured it would make me seem smarter than I am, didn't know so many people wouldn't get the username. Most think I work for Salon or something like that. Not to embarrass myself, but is your username related to The Moody Blues song of the same name?
