Has anyone tried to watch "Fashionably Late" with Stacey London on TLC?
She's half of the US version of "What Not to Wear" and has debuted her own weekly fashion-oriented talk show on Fridays. I've tried to watch it, but it just seems like a bit of a mess -- too much going on, short, superficial interviews (tonight she had Carolina Herrera on, and the interview was totally vapid), and some interesting-on-paper but stupid-in-execution segments.

Anyone else see it, or have any opinions?

2. ugh. I usually give something 2-3 episodes, but this is too
awful to sit through again. I like her on WNTWear, but I think the appeal is Stacey and Clinton together (his solo efforts have been totally boring duds, too) - they have a good rapport and can riff off one another, whereas solo they both seem to sink.

Just like Tim Gunn's Guide to Style - another stinker. Are there any decent producers out there who know what to do with their 'talent', so to speak?

3. i love Tim, (my timmy!) but i was soooo disappointed with his show.
and Stacey is fine on WNTW but her talk show is all over the place. i diid see Clinton's show where he redid some house he bought and it bored me to tears.

4. I bought Tim's book, just for fun.. he is such a gentleman with
just the right amount of snark thrown in. He was pretty funny on Project Runway a few nights ago --

But on his show, he and Veronica Webb had very little chemistry (not surprising, since she was brought in about 3 days before filming started). And while I understand the concept behind "going through the underwear drawer" it just seemed weirdly bizarre and too voyeuristic. And just gross, too. And then the gift-giving seemed really fake.

Oh well. Do you know if Bravo will frantically try to retool the show and offer a second season, or was Tim Gunn's Guide to Style a one-season-wonder?

7. i like to see it retooled so it's only Tim on and the gift giving thing, totally agree
way cheesy. As for Veronica i think she'd do ok with her own show, she's pretty likable but would be better as a solo act and staying out of underwear draws, thats way too much info for us the viewers. I hope do hope Sheer genius comes back and i love project runway.

5. I can only take "shut up" one too many times.
I caught it for less than a minute and that was enough.

9. ha! I know -- she even mouths it, w/o saying it. It's her verbal tic
and it drives me crazy, too.

10. She should say it to herself and then do it.
