"Many miles away, something crawls to the surface..."
"...Of a dark Scottish loch."

I just got my Police greatest hits import in the mail. Suddenly I am in junior high school.

Grand. :)

1. That thing's a masterpiece of digital remastering.
It's even got "Don't Stand So Close '87" re-done with digital reproductions of the source tracks. Great, great stuff.

And notice the credit: "All songs written by Sting." He may have turned into Julio Iglesias later, but back then he was the man.

2. I have the Box Set
"Synchronicity II" has some of the best lyrics of all time, IMHO.

What the hell happened to Sting, anyway?

4. First full length LP I ever bought
and as a bonus, it had boobies on the cover, and I don't mean the airborne variety.

5. Me too.
I remember it as the first "music I really cared about" album.

Actually, first I got the record at the library, and made a bad dub to tape. That proved unsatisfactory, so I saved up and bought the LP. Wonder where that is...?

6. A Police album was my first, too.
Ghost In The Machine in my case. :-)
