Who gets over-the-air digital TV?

How is the reception? I want to pull in stations from about 40 miles out because that's where the nearest CBS affiliate is. Analog is grainy from that distance.

he bought a special antenna for it, but it was under $100 and works great. 40 miles should be no problem, he lives about that distance from the transmitters downtown, and gets a good signal.

2. I live in an apt; I need an amplified antennae to get anything;

even then it's shaky.

But compared to analog over antennae, it's still better. Virtually all or nothing gets through the digital circuitry. With analog, it was ALWAYS grainy.
