4. After a really horrible break up via an ex that lied to me

about having several affairs behind my back, I felt very self destructive.

I found "company" on that sight a few times. Just be prepared for the person that in no way matches their photo or posts a photo from 15 years before.

After I passed through my self destructive phase and looked back upon my experiences via that site, I found it was very enlightening and educational. :)

...that to actually have any functionality on the site (sending messages, etc) you have to pay. I don't much care for anything that advertises as "free" and then hits you with lots of hidden charges.

and as others have said, be ready to filter out thousands of fake ads, people that don't look like their picture, and if you are looking for a woman, a probable 6:1 male-female ratio...Still i did have a little success (and fun) here and there...
