We were talking about why Obobma was winning in Iowa and he told me that he had no chcance in the general. I asked him why? he said he is African American. I told him no he is not. Then he told me he is a Muslim. I got pissed. Asked him where he got this (I knew anyway cuz the same person sent it to me a few times). "I got an email saying it" he said. I told him it was a FUCKING LIE and that he ought to think about getting shit like this and believeing it. I google Obama releigion and read him a NYTImes article about his releigion. OT MUSLIM.

But this is what we are up against. the swiftboating has begun..... Fox slips and uses osama for Obama all the time. the Rep cadidates do it all the time. Not a slip. planned out to plant the seed.

They will do anything to see thaeir handpicked candidate is picked for both parties (and we all know who it is on the Dems side).

On Newshours yesterday they spent a while telling how many former Republicans were able to switch parties and vote in the caucus and I got to thinking (I'm paranoid sometimes) about Republicans voting in the Democrat caucuses/primaries for someone they thought the Republicans could beat later.. I'd wondered before if that was possible then last night when they said people could change parties at the last minute I couldn't help worrying.

But then Obama got it, and I was proud to be an American all of a sudden! :)


But anyway, I can't tell who the Repubs would rather run against, who is it, you think?


It's obvious to me a lot of Repubs will embarrass themselves with the "Osama" crap and questioning his religion, I can't believe my fellow Americans can be so horrible x( But I bet the attacks on him will get very very ugly.

She is of the Christian right and we were talking yesterday about the Caucus (tee hee)and she told me she did no know how anyone could vote for a Muslim. Again she got it in an email message from her friends. She said she has recieved a lot of these.
